For over twenty five years Nutmeg Stairs and Cabinets has supplied the Connecticut area with quality crafted stairways and cabinet designs. We cater specifically to the home owner. Whether your project is remodeling an existing area or a new installation, our design staff will guide you through the entire process. We have a full subcontractor base for the entire project so every detail will be expertly handled. Our custom cabinets are either made in our own shop or that of our cabinet vendor’s.

To complement your cabinetry, we offer a complete line of countertops. Whether you choose a laminate, stone, or a solid surfacing material like Corian®, you’ll be satisfied with the results you envisioned.

We strive to give you a more personal experience, offering our custom cabinet design service in our store and in your home. This will ensure a perfect match to your existing décor. This service is included with every project and the estimates are free. Our design center is available during normal store hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday through Thursday, Fridays 9:00am – 12:00pm. Saturdays and evenings by appointment only.

Custom stairways are fabricated in our shop and assembled at the job site by our dedicated subcontractor team. We choose the finest woods and craft each staircase to your personalized requirements. View stair baluster choices here.
